I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Former twice world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really happening.
